Major Responsibilities of Superintendent:

Opening and securing the jobsite at the beginning and end of the day Run the day-to-day operations on the construction site and control the short-term schedule Communicate with project team regarding RFI’s and Material Submittals. Gather project material submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job-site. Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with contracted scope of work. Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions. Perform weekly site meetings to ensure job site safety, health, and environmental quality standards are followed and maintain daily site reports. Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner. Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolutions. Provide direction and leadership among subcontractors and vendors.

Communicate using the following tools:

telephone, written logs, email. Blueprint reading Physically lift up to 100 lbs. Endurance and ability to visit entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.
