We are seeking a dedicated and experiencedArchitectural Construction Administrator to join our team. This isan exciting opportunity for a professional who has this type ofexperience already and wants a hybrid schedule. The successfulcandidate will have the chance to work on a diverse range ofprojects, including multi-family residential, commercial, andinstitutional buildings. This role requires an individual who has astrong understanding of construction processes, building codes, andarchitectural design principles. If you are a proactive,detail-oriented, and innovative professional with a knack forproblem-solving, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee construction projects from inception to completion. 2.Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, andspecifications to ensure compliance with design standards andbuilding codes. 3. Coordinate with project managers, architects,engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure allproject requirements are met. 4. Conduct regular site visits tomonitor progress, identify potential issues, and implementcorrective actions. 5. Prepare and maintain project documentation,including reports, schedules, budgets, and change orders. 6. Ensurethat all construction activities adhere to established safetystandards and regulations. 7. Participate in project meetings andprovide regular updates on architectural construction progress,issues, and solutions. 8. Conduct post-construction evaluations toassess the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
1.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture,Construction Management, or a closely related field, or extensivetime in a Construction Administration role. 2. A minimum of 7 yearsof experience in architectural construction administration, with afocus on multi-family residential projects. 3. Strong knowledge ofconstruction methods, materials, and legal regulations. 4.Proficient in using architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit,and SketchUp. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to liaise effectively with a range ofstakeholders. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, withthe ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure. 7.Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously. 8. A proactive approach to work, with theability to anticipate potential issues and implement effectivesolutions. 9. Professional registration as an Architect orConstruction Manager is preferred.
