Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Superintendent to oversee the on-site execution and delivery of large-scale Data Center construction projects in Florida and Georgia. This individual will be responsible for managing field operations, ensuring schedule adherence, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has a proven background in mission-critical construction, with deep expertise in MEP systems and high-performance team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all on-site construction activities for data center projects from start to finish. Manage, schedule, and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams. Ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications, building codes, and company standards. Monitor project schedules, cost control measures, and resource planning to keep projects on time and on budget. Conduct daily site walks, toolbox talks, and regular safety audits. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to resolve field issues and maintain alignment on project goals. Maintain detailed daily reports and oversee documentation for inspections, RFIs, and change orders. Lead and mentor field staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure quality control procedures are rigorously applied throughout construction phases. Interface with local authorities, utility companies, and inspectors as necessary.

Qualifications:

10+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent or general superintendent role. Proven experience in the delivery of large-scale data centers, mission-critical, or industrial facilities. Deep knowledge of MEP systems, critical power infrastructure, and large-scale concrete/steel construction. Strong working knowledge of construction documents, safety standards (OSHA), and industry best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam). Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism and control. OSHA 30 certification (Required). Ability to travel or relocate as needed for project assignments across Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Data Center commissioning experience is a plus. LEED, PMP, or other industry certifications.
