We are looking for a Land Development Project Manage r in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in land development, project management, and civil engineering. They should be skilled in overseeing planning, entitlements, and construction for large-scale projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage project plans, outlining schedules, budgets, and required resources. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables. Track progress, ensuring timelines and milestones are met while proactively addressing challenges. Conduct in-depth land use analysis and feasibility assessments to support due diligence efforts. Work with legal, environmental, and engineering teams to evaluate site conditions and potential constraints. Identify and mitigate risks related to land acquisition, entitlements, and overall project execution. Support the entitlement process by coordinating zoning, planning approvals, and regulatory compliance efforts. Prepare and submit applications for land use approvals, ensuring timely review by authorities. Manage permitting and design approvals, working closely with government agencies and community stakeholders. Oversee site development, ensuring construction aligns with plans, quality standards, and safety regulations. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to maintain construction schedules and quickly resolve issues. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to standards. Develop and oversee project budgets, tracking costs and identifying opportunities for savings.
