Summary:
Commence is seeking a Preconstruction Coordinator to assist in the planning and coordination of preconstruction activities for various projects. This role is vital in ensuring that all project requirements are met before construction begins. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Reports to:
Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage the purchasing order process, including issuing purchase orders, revising when necessary Maintain up to date marketing material Maintain and produce lot specific specification sheets and layouts Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design teams, to ensure alignment on project goals. Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and design teams to gather necessary project information and specifications. Communicate with clients to review selection offerings per job Notify qualifying contractors of the start of construction Assist in developing bid packages and procurement processes, including soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers. Stay informed about industry trends, building codes, and best practices related to pre-construction processes.
