Job Description
Position Summary:
The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day operations on active job sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in K-12 renovations and/or ground-up commercial construction , with a proven track record of project leadership and team coordination .
Key Responsibilities:
Manage on-site construction activities for K-12 renovation and general commercial projects. Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain project schedules and communicate progress with project managers and stakeholders. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve field issues promptly. Utilize Procore for documentation, reporting, and communication. Be available for weekend shifts as project demands require.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction. Strong preference for candidates with K-12 renovation experience . Experience with ground-up commercial projects is also acceptable. Demonstrated tenure and stability with previous employers. Proficiency in Procore construction management software. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary.
