Essential Duties / Responsibilities Administers general contract documents, subcontracts, drawings, and specifications under the Superintendent’s direction. Verifies subcontractor layout to ensure alignment with control, line, and grade standards. Monitors production rates and logs data for future project scheduling. Maintains and updates production documents daily to reflect accurate work progress. Reports field conditions and issues directly to the Superintendent. Ensures on-site work complies with contract documents and Quality Control Program. Collaborates with the Superintendent to plan and schedule project work. Assists in safety compliance and addresses or reports safety deficiencies to appropriate personnel. Coaches field engineers to support skill development and project success. Supports job site activities including OSHA compliance, logistics, and coordination. Facilitates project communication with the Superintendent, Project Management, and subcontractors. Helps implement and maintain the project schedule, including baseline and two-week look-ahead schedules. Conducts inspections to verify quality and compliance with approved submittals. Participates in project meetings (e.g., owner, subcontractor, safety, coordination, closeout) to manage project flow. Assists with project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, reports, and logs to ensure successful project completion. Education /

Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in the construction industry working on commercial office, hospitality, healthcare high-rise buildings. Knowledge /

Skills Required:

Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Reads, understands, and interprets contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and schedules. Effectively manages multiple priorities while balancing business needs and maintaining excellent customer relations. Applies sound business judgment to balance budget constraints with construction processes. Exhibits exceptional organizational skills to manage complex construction details. Manages subcontractor performance to maintain high standards of quality. Shows urgency and initiative, with the ability to assess complex issues and resolve conflict firmly and fairly.
