Construction Superintendent Owen Thomas Group Boca Raton, FL 33486 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction Commercial & Retail projects from inception to completion up to the value of $50M. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders including contractors, clients, and team members. Duties Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate and manage all construction activities, including scheduling work and allocating resources effectively. Utilize construction management software for project scheduling and documentation. Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that work meets specified standards and project requirements. Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate construction estimates and budgets. Maintain clear communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively. Ensure that all necessary permits and inspections are obtained in a timely manner. Skills Proficiency in construction management software is essential. Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices. Excellent project scheduling abilities to ensure timely completion of tasks. Knowledge of pipeline construction processes is a plus. Ability to enforce quality control measures on-site effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a cohesive team environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
