They have a proven track record of designing and installing a full range of electrical solutions for residential and commercial needs. They have a skilled team of professionals who can present highly detailed estimates ahead of time, whether you require a basic power upgrade for your residence, intricate electrical backup power solutions for new construction or cutting-edge home automation. In addition to large estate homes and governmental facilities and the company specializes in marine/dock power and equestrian venues. The company has an immediate need for an Electrical Service Department Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the electrical service department for commercial projects, ensuring all services are completed on time and within budget. Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of workmanship and safety. Coordinate with clients to assess service needs, provide accurate estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction. Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to optimize efficiency and productivity within the service team. Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Review and approve work orders, schedules, and job estimates, ensuring they align with client expectations and budget constraints. Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure seamless integration of service work within larger projects. Monitor and maintain equipment and inventory to ensure the department is adequately stocked and prepared for all jobs. Perform quality control inspections and ensure that all service work meets the highest standards. Prepare and review reports on service operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure that all service issues are promptly addressed and resolved. Handle any emergency or urgent service calls, ensuring that the team responds quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical services, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong experience in commercial electrical services and operations management. Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols. Proficient in scheduling, budgeting, and managing service operations. Ability to assess client needs and provide accurate service estimates. OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Electrical certifications (Journeyman or Master Electrician) are a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; Electrical apprenticeship or trade school education is preferred.
