This rolerequires you to be the backbone of our operations, ensuring thesmooth running of our office on a day-to-day basis. You will be thefirst point of contact for all office-related matters and will havethe opportunity to make a significant impact on our businessoperations. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 5years of relevant experience. Responsibilities As the OfficeManager, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks thatensure the effective operation of our office.
Your duties willinclude:
1. Overseeing and coordinating all office activities andoperations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.2. Supervising administrative staff and dividing responsibilitiesto ensure performance. 3. Managing agendas for upper management,assist in planning appointments, board meetings, conferences etc.4. Managing phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters,packages etc.) 5. Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures,including managing contracts and invoices. 6. Create and updaterecords and databases with personnel, financial and other data. 7.Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary. 8.Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals asassigned. 9. Assist colleagues whenever necessary, fostering asupportive and efficient office environment. Qualifications Theideal candidate will have the following qualifications: 1. Provenexperience as an Office Manager or Administrative Assistant in theconstruction industry. 2. Outstanding communication andinterpersonal abilities. 3. Excellent organizational and leadershipskills. 4. Familiarity with office management procedures and basicaccounting principles. 5. Excellent knowledge of MS Office andoffice management software. 6. Qualifications in secretarialstudies will be an advantage. 7. High school diploma; BSc/BA inoffice administration or relevant field is preferred. Our OfficeManager will need to have a strong understanding of constructionindustry practices, and be able to multi-task efficiently. Youshould also possess exceptional communication skills anddemonstrate leadership capabilities.
