Job Description
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Project Manager – Capital Project Construction based in West Palm Beach, Florida. As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in managing various construction projects, particularly focusing on interior renovations and design. Furthermore, you will be expected to engage with both public and private stakeholders, presenting to county officials and ensuring a good cultural fit within the organization. This role is 100% onsite and will be based out of our Gun Club location.
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects, focusing on scheduling, tracking, and purchasing
- Utilize tools such as Auto CAD, Procor, Oracle, and Microsoft Office for project management
- Engage in interior renovations, office layouts, and furniture design
- Communicate and present effectively to county officials and other stakeholders
- Review plans, specifications, pricing, and cost trends for conformance with Agency needs
- Conduct stakeholder meetings and observe work in place for quality assurance
- Perform research based on specific project needs and assist in the development of plans and specifications
- Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, Cloud Technologies, CRM, ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning, IBM, About Time, Agile Scrum, Budget Processes, Communication, Construction, Architectural Engineering, Civil engineering, AutoCAD, Project Management Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in capital project construction.
- Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management.
- Demonstrable understanding and use of Cloud Technologies.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Knowledge and experience in using ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
- Familiarity with IBM systems and platforms.
- Experience with About Time for mobile resource management.
- Ability to work within Agile Scrum frameworks.
- Demonstrated understanding of budget processes within project management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in construction project management.
- Degree in architectural engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design.
- Proven track record in project management, with a focus on delivering complex capital construction projects.
