Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
: Optimize and document operational procedures and processes for a team of 30+ field technicians and support staff, ensuring efficient operations and quality control. Manage and maintain the existing sales pipeline, driving new business opportunities and partnerships. Develop and manage key client relationships, provide exceptional customer service and ensure their needs are met. Assist Construction Divisional Manager with all department duties as needed. Review and analyze project costs, progress, and profitability to ensure financial targets are met. Manage all construction projects in the field from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety. Set performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to employees. Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment on project timelines, budgets, and goals. Set up projects for mobilization, including equipment orders, purchase orders, and delivery coordination. Create and process change orders and assess materials needed for modifications. Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication, resolve issues, and set goals for team members. Enforce and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure adherence to all Excell Refrigeration policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
: Always maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers, internal management, and team members. Exceed customer expectations through efficient service and solutions-oriented approach.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within the refrigeration or HVAC industry. Must be willing to travel up to 20%. Previous experience managing a large team (30+ people) and working with operational pipelines. Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed, including weekends. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
