JOB DUTIES
Lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring efficient projectexecution and timely delivery. Oversee the design and implementation of closed basinstormwater projects, specializing in nutrient net improvement inimpaired water bodies and FEMA floodplains. Provide expert guidance in stormwater engineering, making valueengineering recommendations to clients for optimized projectoutcomes. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs,expectations, and goals, ensuring a high level of satisfaction andsuccessful project delivery. Manage the permitting process for projects, ensuring compliancewith relevant regulations and standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resourceallocation plans. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies toensure project success. Lead the design efforts on master planned Single-Family,Multifamily, and Build-to-Rent communities, including but notlimited to AutoCAD Civil 3D drawing and modeling, mass grading andAGTEK cut and fill analysis, multiple interconnected lift stationin series design and calculations, Stormwater design by ICPR withand without percolation rings, Recovery and Infiltration analysiswith PONDS, erosion control best management plans (BMPs) such assediment basins, skimmer basins, diversion ditches, etc.
MINIMUMEDUCATION
Master’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental LandPlanning, Land Surveying, Industrial Engineering or related.
MINIMUMEXPERIENCE
8 years’ experience required with wetland and surfacewater mitigation, minimization and reduction; erosion control bestmanagement plans (BMPs) including sediment basins, skimmer basins,and diversion ditches; experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design andmodeling with surfaces and pipe networks; experience with ICPRmodeling with and without Percolation rings + 3 years’ experience(within the 8 years) with closed basin stormwater design.
TRAVELREQUIREMENTS
20% domestic travel to client sites andmeetings.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
Possess a license as a ProfessionalEngineer in the State of Florida.
