SUPERINTENDENT — JOB DESCRIPTION

Plan, coordinate and supervise new construction for commercial/industrial construction under administrative supervision from a designated administrative officer.

SUBCONTRACTORS. PUNCHOUT SPECIALIST

Control your project site. Hands On, able to participate if needed in non performing subcontractors. Determines work priorities and coordinates work activities within the design area and/or with others outside of the office; apportions work among employees according to abilities or specialized training. Coordinates new construction and major remodeling, which involves scheduling meetings and reviewing project documents (e.g., contracts, specifications, blueprints) as necessary. Collaborates with administrators on the supervision of all work operations. Exercises control over rate of construction progress in order to complete construction project within time limits; schedules jobs and operations. Estimates materials needed for specific jobs; estimates manpower needed for specific jobs. Leads inspection and commission of day to day construction work to enforce conformity to specifications. Acts as an adviser on job related problems. Deals with individuals demanding information or service, such as agencies, department heads or others. Handle inspections and building department. Performs other related duties as assigned. Hands-on; willing to jump in and help move project along, willing to handle tools. Knowledge and utilization with daily reporting of job site conditions, schedules, manpower impacting the project in PROCORE project management software.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES NEEDED TO UNDERTAKE JOB

Knowledge of all phases of building construction, including work commonly done by the various building crafts. have tools and dependible vehicle Knowledge of , Framing, Drywall, Hollow Metal and wood Doors, electrical, mechanical and structural systems. Earthwork and Ground up construction Knowledge of building materials, tools and machines. Knowledge of building material costs and wages. Supervisory ability. Ability to read blueprints and specifications for building. General computer, writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

FORKLIFT, Lull, Certification High school graduation or equivalent. Any combination totaling 4 years (48 months) from the following categories of experience: Knowledge of PROCORE Project Management Platform or equivalent. Work experience in building construction, remodeling, construction project coordination College or vocational course work in the area of construction project coordination, building construction or closely related field:
