Our Services include water extraction, fire & smoke damage mitigation, contents, mold remediation. Our company is expanding, and we are searching for a talented Restoration Manager to support our team. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated individual that will manage residential and commercial restoration projects for the company. We are offering this excellent opportunity for the right candidate who wants to work for a company that is team and customer service oriented. The Restoration Manager will support business goals and objectives while sustaining the company’s objectives. The Restoration Manager is responsible for inspecting properties damaged by water, fire, mold, etc. and write accurate scopes of work in Xactimate. The Restoration Manager will assist with the process of selling and managing restoration projects from contract signing to final payment collection. The Restoration Manager will be responsible for negotiating contracts with home/business owners, insurance adjusters and third-party administrators. The ideal candidate for this position must have the ability to successfully write, budget, run and close projects successfully and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inspect residential and commercial projects and manage mitigation projects at various phases of construction from start to finish. Write scopes of work and negotiate contracts with insurance adjusters and property owners (XACTIMATE). Develop draw schedules and stay on task until the completion of project and payment. Manage project and oversee technicians while maintaining constant line of communication with all parties involved. Understanding of the insurance claims process and building codes. Communicate the progress of each project to staff members, adjusters, and homeowners. Expand insurance adjuster, Property Management, and subcontractor database. Participate in Ready 5 on-call program. Approve payment of invoices associated with your jobs. Obtain signatures as needed on paperwork and checks on a timely basis. Follow-up and correct any warranty items. Update job progress in DASH System with detailed notes per client and company’s guidelines. Attend scheduled company meetings and stay current with industry and building regulations. Work with and support Business Development team in company’s sales and marketing efforts by following up on new leads and requests for assistance. Promote job site safety throughout the process Flexible schedule and ability to travel per CAT with short notice. Other duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has management responsibilities. EDUCATION and /or
EXPERIENCE
GED or High School Diploma. Five years construction/project management experience with a minimum of three years insurance restoration experience Knowledge of restoration, mitigation, and/or construction practices and procedures. Computer skills and knowledge of Xactimate and office applications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Physical and psychological ability to perform the job duties of a Restoration Manager including creating scope of work and managing the project from start to finish. Proficient with writing estimates in Xactimate Software.
IICRC certifications:
carpet cleaning, water, mold, fire, bio, etc. preferred but not required. Must have a subcontractor base to support the operation. Must have reliable transportation to perform job duties and attend meetings in the corporate office. Detail oriented and ability to multi-task. Clear and concise written and verbal skills. Ability to interact well with peers, adjusters, and property owners. Computer literate and ability to operate a mobile device. Pass background, drug test and maintain acceptable driving records.
General project management skills:
attention to detail, ability to show leadership, have accountability, communicate timely, solve problems, self-motivate, create, and maintain schedules, multitask, and organized within Ready 5 standards. Educate the customer on the processes of mitigation, job schedule and completion, and establish realistic expectations for the process. Ensure all communication between customer and production workers is handled effectively using professional techniques and adequate supervision so that all work provided by employees, subcontractors, and vendors meets or exceeds Company standards. Generate new leads and new business through relationships with adjusters, property managers, and commercial and residential property owners. Work closely with all customers and adjusters on loss mitigation/reconstruction efforts Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and quality controls. Customer inquiries/complaints are monitored, quickly acted upon, and properly recorded Control job costs within Company profit margin standards. Conduct job site visitations daily as work progresses to verify satisfactory completion. Ensure all proper documentation is signed by appropriate parties. Obtain approvals from insurance adjusters.
