Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Finish Grader Foreman to lead and oversee grading operations on our civil construction sites. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of finish grading operations, and the ability to manage crews and equipment to ensure high-quality and efficient site preparation.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of grading crews and equipment operators. Operate finish graders to ensure precise grading to plan specifications. Read and interpret site plans, grades, and construction drawings. Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications. Monitor productivity and adjust operations as needed to stay on schedule. Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other foremen on site progress. Conduct daily pre-task meetings and ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in civil site construction. At least 3 years of experience as a foreman or supervisor in grading operations. Proficient in operating motor graders and finish grading to tight tolerances. Strong knowledge of reading grade stakes, plans, and GPS systems (Trimble or Topcon preferred). Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Reliable, organized, and safety-focused.
