Technology Drive, Nokomis, FL 34275 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced roofing superintendent. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to over seeing roof replacements from start to finish. This entails hauling dump trailers, delivering materials to the job, getting crews started, tracking job progress and helping with installation when necessary. We specialize in metal roofing so experience with metal roofing and fabrication is a plus. We are a growing company looking for someone reliable and flexible to join our team. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers on-site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Make sure required materials are available and on site. Helping with installs and guiding crews on proper installation techniques when needed. Conduct regular inspections of work quality and provide feedback for improvement. Communicate effectively with crews to ensure project timelines are met. Communicate with customers effectively and answer questions when needed. Maintain a clean job site with regular clean ups of trash and unused materials Requirements Good driving record Strong knowledge of local building codes Experience hauling trailers Knowledge of metal, shingle, tpo and modified roofing installation. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Good organizational skills and ability to communicate. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites.
