Role Overview:

As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will oversee and direct large-scale construction projects for government / federal / public institutions / schools. You will manage all phases of construction, from planning and design to execution and closeout, ensuring successful completion within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage construction project for a $80M+ public institution, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local construction regulations, codes, and standards. Oversee procurement and contract management processes, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Identify and mitigate risks, resolving construction challenges efficiently. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones, changes, and challenges. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project performance and outcomes. Foster continuous improvement in construction project management practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in the government/public sector. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, codes, safety protocols, and compliance requirements. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within time and budget constraints. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent). Ability to travel as needed for site visits and project oversight.
