We are a dynamic and growing civil construction company specializing in underground utilities, concrete work and some road construction. With a reputation for quality, safety, and timely delivery, we’re looking for a driven Construction Manager to join our leadership team and help support field and project operations across multiple sites.
Position Summary:
As an Construction Manager, you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to support the planning, execution, and optimization of all construction operations. This role bridges the office and field, helping to coordinate teams, resources, schedules, and performance metrics. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day oversight of field operations and project delivery Support resource allocation across crews, equipment, and subcontractors Monitor project schedules, logistics, and milestone progress Help implement and improve company systems for operations, safety, and reporting Serve as a liaison between field staff, project managers, and senior leadership Assist with onboarding, training, and supporting site and field staff Prepare operational reports and summaries for management review Participate in safety audits, compliance checks, and process improvements
Qualifications:
4-7 years of experience in civil construction operations, project management, or site supervision Strong knowledge of construction workflows, scheduling, and resource planning Experience coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and site logistics Proficient in basic software including Gmail, Calendar, Google Sheets, etc Excellent communication and organizational skills Valid driver’s license; ability to travel between job sites as needed Degree in construction management preferred
