Role:
We are seeking a Contract Coordination Assistant to join our team and support roadway construction projects in the Port St. Lucie area. This position plays a key role in helping project teams stay organized, compliant, and on schedule—particularly on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects. If you’re detail-oriented, familiar with construction documentation, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
Assist in preparing and organizing construction contract documents Track and maintain records for submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence Ensure compliance with FDOT standards and documentation requirements Support billing and reporting processes, including pay estimates and progress updates Coordinate communication between contractors, internal staff, and FDOT contacts Help with project close-out tasks and required submissions Use FDOT systems such as AASHTOWare, Site Manager, or EDMS for data entry and reporting Provide general administrative support including scheduling and meeting documentation
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred) 2+ years of experience in construction administration or contract support Familiarity with FDOT procedures and documentation systems Strong organization and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Clear written and verbal communication Able to manage multiple tasks independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience on FDOT roadway construction projects Knowledge of FDOT platforms (AASHTOWare, MAC, ProjectSuite, etc.) FDOT-related certifications (such as CTQP) Why Join Us?
