Multifamily Superintendent Confidential Wildwood, FL Currently seeing a Superintendent with Commercial Construction Management knowledge and experience. We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive and reliable Construction Superintendent. You will lead, direct and coordinate the subcontractors on a large new construction project. The position is vitally important to the overall success of the company, so we are looking for the best, highly motivated, collaborative, solution driven and forward-thinking individuals to become part of our team. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Procore is a plus. Minimum 5 years construction experience on ground-up construction $10 million in value and higher. Civil construction experience is a plus. Schedule and coordinate subcontractors to maintain or improve the project schedule, ensure that the subcontractors provide the proper manpower to perform the work when it is needed in a time frame to meet or improve the schedule. Assist Project Managers in management of projects to meet expectations of quality, schedule and budget. Have complete knowledge of all contracts, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, shop drawings, schedules and general conditions. Review and maintain jobsite plan sets, shop drawings and submittals. Identify cost savings and /or time schedule reduction potential. Review subcontract agreements and purchase orders with all subcontractors/vendors. Maintain compliance with project safety program requirements, document and ensure correct measures are implemented. Provide timely report of project milestones, costs, changes and schedules. Write daily reports and RFI’s in a clear manner, editing work for spelling and grammar. Weekly generation of 3 week look ahead schedules, short term schedules and determine sequencing of work. Ensure that project is clean and organized daily. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities 5+ years’ experience as a Project Superintendent in the construction industry 3+ years’ experience in ground-up construction preferred Proficient in Windows operation systems and associated software Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written Management skills, experience in team and project management Critical thinker and problem solver Procore experience a plus Many opportunities locally, however preference would be ability to perform limited travel within the state.
