River Edge is actively recruiting for the role of Site Supervisorat our LifeSPRING location. This full-time position involvesoverseeing daily operations, coordinating program activities, andproviding leadership to the site’s staff. The Site Supervisor willcollaborate with team members to create a positive workenvironment, ensure compliance with regulations, engage withclients, and report on site activities.   • Supervise clinical and support staff at the facility.
  • Oversee treatment plans for program participants.
  • Contact referrals and schedule intake appointments.
  • Revise client programs/groups for LSR/LSO.
  • Diagnose and document notes for all new clients (including BRRas needed).
  • Submit WTRS reports to DFCS on assessments.
  • Liaise with DFCS and other state agencies to maintain contractcompliance and address programmatic needs.
  • Monitor and audit client records and utilizationmanagement.
  • Facilitate staff meetings.
  • Complete meeting minutes, agendas, supervision forms, andorganizational charts.
  • Manage the intake waiting list and occupancy list.
  • Oversee the Therapeutic Childcare program and prepare monthlyreports.
  • Create staffing schedules and manage timesheets.
  • Monitor peer groups and life skills training discussiontopics.
  • Submit monthly organizational charts to the Leadershipteam.
  • Facilitate the client discharge process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social service field (Social Work,Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related field
  • Must have Associate License or Fully Licensed in either
  • LAPC,LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW

  • At least two (2) years supervisory experience.
  • All applicants must pass an intensive background check andpre-employment drug test.
  • Demonstrate expertise and knowledge in mental health andsubstance abuse services and community resources.
Competencies Supervision and Leadership:

Ability to effectively superviseclinical and support staff, providing direction, guidance, andsupport to ensure the smooth functioning of the facility. Thisincludes delegating tasks, providing feedback, and fosteringprofessional development.

Treatment Planning and Evaluation:

Proficiency in overseeingtreatment plans for program participants, including assessingneeds, developing individualized plans, and regularly evaluatingprogress. This involves understanding therapeutic interventions,monitoring outcomes, and adjusting plans as necessary.

Administrative and Reporting Skills:

Skill in managingadministrative tasks related to client intake, documentation,reporting, and compliance. This includes diagnosing and documentingclient notes, submitting reports to relevant agencies, maintainingrecords, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Communication and Collaboration:

Effective communication isessential for liaising with external agencies, coordinatingreferrals, and maintaining compliance with contractual obligations.

Collaboration with DFCS and other state agencies requiresdiplomacy, negotiation skills, and the ability to build positiverelationships.

Organization and Time Management:

Managing multipleresponsibilities, such as scheduling appointments, maintainingwaiting lists, preparing reports, and overseeing staff meetings,requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritizetasks effectively. Additionally, managing timesheets, staffingschedules, and peer group topics necessitates efficient timemanagement to ensure smooth operations.
