Commercial Construction Superintendent & Assistant Superintendent CDT Construction Inc Carrollton, GA 30117 Overview We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents to oversee and manage commercial/industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction management processes. Duties Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore to track project progress, manage schedules, and communicate with team members. Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project plans. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the construction process to maintain high standards of workmanship. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. Manage the pipeline of tasks and resources required for successful project completion. Provide guidance and support to construction teams, fostering a productive work environment. Troubleshoot issues that arise on-site and implement effective solutions promptly. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily reports and progress updates. Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the commercial and/or industrial construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Familiarity with construction management software, particularly ProCore. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings effectively. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on quality control throughout all phases of construction. Strong leadership capabilities with experience in supervising teams effectively. Exceptional communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
