The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve the management of onsite construction activities and coordination with various stakeholders including subcontractors and clients, particularly in correctional facilities and medical units. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the construction process.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring that work is completed efficiently.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site in a timely manner.
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the project. Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on correctional facilities or medical units.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with project management software and tools.
