Wawayanda, NY Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Concrete Superintendent to oversee and manage all phases of concrete construction on a large-scale project located in Wawayanda, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the concrete industry and a proven track record of success in a superintendent role. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of concrete construction practices.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily field operations related to concrete construction, including formwork, placement, finishing, and curing Supervise crews and subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, on time, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain project schedule and resolve any field issues Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings Monitor project budgets and material usage Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and production Provide input on constructability, cost-saving opportunities, and project planning

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the concrete construction industry Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques and processes Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules OSHA 30 certification preferred Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, 60 hours per week, Monday through Friday (weekends off) Must be willing to travel to
