Reconstruction Project Manager Terminus Roofing Woodstock, GA Position Summary The Restoration Reconstruction Project Manager will oversee and manage restoration reconstruction projects from mitigation department handoff to completion and client satisfaction. This role requires a combination of project management skills and budgeting expertise to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of restoration and reconstruction processes. This role involves crucial communication between insurance adjusters, clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management Oversee all phases of water and fire damage reconstruction projects once handed off from mitigation department. Ensure thorough documentation (summary notes and photos) is recorded throughout project. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation based on the scope of work to present to insurance adjuster. Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution through email, text or DASH software. Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house staff. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications. Negotiate with subcontractors and homeowners to ensure the project falls within projected budgets and timelines Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle. Work overtime, weekends and respond to new losses after hours as needed. Collect final sign offs and payment. 2.
Estimating:
Conduct thorough site inspections to assess the extent of reconstruction services needed. Prepare and present detailed bid proposals to clients, including cost breakdowns and project timelines Review and negotiate estimates with insurance adjusters and clients to secure approvals. Negotiate contracts and manage changes in scope or cost as needed. Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for the cost of reconstruction services using industry-standard software (e.g., Xactimate). Ensure that estimates comply with insurance company requirements and industry standards. Close unsecured work 3.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with Third Party Administrator (TPA) and meet all requirements asked. Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any concerns or questions promptly through text, email or DASH. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and exceptional service. 4.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all restoration activities are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards. Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect workers, clients, and property during the restoration process. Maintain accurate documentation of all project activities, including photographs, notes, and reports. 5.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor technicians and subcontractors working on projects. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and estimating within the restoration and/or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Professional certifications related to project management or estimating (e.g., PMP, CPE) preferred.
- Experience with insurance claims and handling insurance-related documentation.
- Familiarity with relevant software, such as Xactimate or similar estimating platforms.
