EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• current driver’s license and presentable vehicle (pickup truck prefered)
• hands-on experience with construction tools
• able and willing to perform physical labor as required
• able to perform various assigned tasks on jobsites daily with minimal supervision
• works and communicates well with co-workers and others

RESPONSIBILITIES

• assist Project Manager/Owner with daily construction activities as directed
• maintain a clean and orderly job site (install protective barriers, move materials, sweep, etc..)
• perform hands-on tasks and punch work as needed and abilities allow with willingness to learn and apply new skills
• pick up materials for jobsites and return to vendors as needed
• ensure homes are locked at end of day/open as needed for contractors and inspectors
• use company software (app) on phone as trained for tracking hours, retrieving tasks, etc..

This position does allow for advancement and training for the right candidate. Summary As a Construction Assistant, you will support various construction projects by utilizing your core skills with construction tools, written and verbal communiction, customer service, and knowledge of construction techniques. Reporting to the site supervisor, your role is essential in ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. A valid driver’s license is required, as you will need to travel between job sites.
