NOVA Commercial Interiors Inc is seeking a results-driven and highly experienced Commercial Interiors Superintendent to manage on-site construction operations across multiple interior buildouts and renovations. This leadership role requires a hands-on professional with deep knowledge of commercial construction, a proactive mindset, and the ability to guide crews to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure timely and safe project execution Manage subcontractors, field crews, schedules, and logistics across active job sites Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and site access Enforce safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work environments Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project scopes Monitor project progress and adjust schedules or manpower as needed Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards, plans and specifications. Communicate consistently with project managers, clients, and vendors Resolve field issues promptly and professionally to avoid project delays Maintain accurate records of daily activities, manpower, and job progress Coordinate Project Schedules with Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure Commitments are kept. Ensure the Drawings and specifications are followed on jobsite through continuous checks and reviews during the construction process.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a superintendent or lead foreman in commercial construction Strong background in interior buildouts and tenant improvement projects Skilled at coordinating multiple trades and managing high-paced projects Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical documents Proficient in scheduling software, email, and mobile technology Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, timelines, and safety Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects as needed Valid driver’s license required
