Remediation Group, Inc. (RGI) is a fully licensed Environmental, Restoration, Remediation & General Contracting firm located in the heart of Atlanta. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we are readily equipped to respond to Water or Fire Damage Emergency, Mold Removal, and Reconstruction needs. Since 2002, our mission has been to prevent further damage from occurring to residential and commercial properties by putting a swift plan into motion and providing customers with a partner as they navigate through their loss. We are looking for an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent PM must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. REQUIREMENTS
Must have a construction vehicle (Pick-up truck, SUV, Cargo Van, available to be used for work) Company will supply a fuel card for use with your personal vehicle and a $350/mo. automobile reimbursement paid monthly on your direct deposit paycheck. Must be available to work reliably Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30. Jobsites are located within 25 miles of our Midtown Atlanta office. Must have at least 5-years experience as a residential reconstruction project manager (Single family homes, townhomes, multi-family-owner-occupied buildings) Must have experience working with residential property owners Experience is restoration (insurance reimbursed work) is a plus Experience working in high-rise or mid-rise condominiums is a plus Responsibilities Meet property owners onsite for pre-construction meetings and be able to communicate expected timelines, job start requirements, job duration, etc. Work with in-house selections team, estimating department and admin team to ensure materials required for job are approved, ordered, the job is kep within budget, and the property owners are kept up to date during reconstruction. Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities Supervise the work of laborers, tradesmen, subcontractors, etc. and give them guidance when needed. A combination of being onsite and daily photo updates from subs onsite will be needed to ensure progress and quality of work. Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues Skills Required – minimum 5 years proven experience working as a construction/reconstruction superintendent or project manager In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards Good knowledge of MS Office Familiarity with construction/project management software Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills A team player with leadership abilities Please apply by submitting your resume.
