Job Description
Regional Manager Pool Associates Avondale Estates, GA 30002 • Remote Regional Manager The Regional Manager will oversee a team of area leaders and pool technicians, ensuring effective training, route management, and customer satisfaction within the assigned district. This role focuses on developing and leading the team, managing daily operations, and addressing challenges to ensure top-notch service and operational excellence. The Regional Manager will also manage the area’s tech budgets and work closely with other regional managers to ensure all routes are always covered, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Training and Development:
Conduct initial training for new pool technicians, including orientation and hands-on demonstrations. Provide continuous training and support for technicians, including ride-alongs to observe performance and provide real-time feedback. Develop and implement training materials and programs to keep the team updated on best practices, new technologies, and company procedures. Serve as a mentor and coach to technicians, fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging professional growth.
Route Management:
Review and manage daily routes for technicians, ensuring efficiency and effective coverage of all assigned pools. Identify and address challenging pools, such as green pools, by providing guidance on proper care techniques and ensuring technicians are equipped with the necessary tools and chemicals. Monitor and adjust routes as needed to optimize performance and address any operational issues. Collaborate with other Regional Managers to ensure routes are consistently covered across the region, even in cases of technician absence, vacation, or high turnover. Work as a team to maintain operational consistency and customer satisfaction.
Customer Relations and Escalations:
Handle customer escalations and complex issues that technicians may encounter, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. Engage with customers in the assigned areas to gather feedback, address concerns, and build strong relationships. Use customer feedback to coach technicians and implement improvements in service delivery.
Team Motivation and Leadership:
Be a source of encouragement and support for the team, fostering a positive and motivated work environment. Recognize and reward outstanding performance and address any performance issues promptly. Identify underperforming team members, provide targeted support, and collaborate with recruitment to replace or reassign as needed.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure that technicians have all the necessary tools and chemicals for effective pool maintenance and repair. Monitor company policy and procedure adherence, ensuring high quality and safety standards. Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to the Regional Manager / Operations Director.
Tech Budget Management:
Manage all area tech budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and resources are used efficiently. Monitor spending on tools, chemicals, equipment, and other resources required for daily operations. Collaborate with the finance team to develop and adjust the budget as needed to align with business objectives, while ensuring the team has everything they need for optimal performance. Work closely with other Regional Managers to ensure coverage of all service routes, particularly during peak seasons or in response to staffing challenges. Coordinate with neighboring regions to share resources and adjust routes, ensuring operational continuity and minimal service disruption. Participate in regular cross-regional meetings to ensure alignment on operational goals, staffing needs, and customer service standards.
