Salary:

$100,000/year Skillforce is seeking a Residential Custom Home Building Superintendent for a high-end custom home builder specializing in premium residential developments in the Atlanta metro area. With a commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, they build 20-30 luxury homes annually. This team takes pride in delivering exceptional homes tailored to each client’s unique vision. This is a full-time, long-term position.

Position Overview:

The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily on-site operations for custom residential builds, beginning with a development in Buford, GA . This individual will play a key role in ensuring that each home is built to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

Superintendent Key Responsibilities:

Manage all field operations for assigned residential construction projects Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and site labor to ensure quality work and timely progress Coordinate daily site activities and ensure jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism Work closely with the Project Manager, architects, designers, and homeowners to execute plans and resolve issues Maintain construction schedules and update project timelines regularly Conduct quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction Ensure all work complies with building codes, permits, and company standards Troubleshoot field issues and proactively identify potential delays or problems Maintain accurate documentation, daily logs, and reports Attend and lead onsite meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders

Superintendent Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in residential construction, preferably with custom homes Proven track record managing multiple trades and high-end builds Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Highly organized with strong time management and scheduling abilities Tech-savvy and comfortable using construction management software and mobile tools Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
