General Manager Concrete/Construction Confidential Tyrone, GA 30290 Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations and drive the success of our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage resources, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity. Oversee project management activities including planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. Coordinate with various teams to ensure all aspects of projects are aligned with company goals. Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate budget forecasts. Review these estimates with actual results to improve execution Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution. Implement best practices in construction management to enhance operational efficiency. Relentless focus on growth and profitablity by increasing current profit margins and growing in commercial projects and new geographic markets. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines. Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Requirements Proven experience in a managerial role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices. Proficiency in software tools including Prolog, Primavera, ProCore, Civil 3D, and other relevant applications. Excellent skills in construction estimating, project scheduling, and coordination. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common goals. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to analyze and read financial statements.
