Field Manager (Site Concrete & Landscape Division) Quality Poured Concrete LLC Cumming, GA 30040

Overview:

Large commercial concrete and landscape company is seeking to fill the position of Field Manager. The Field Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of job scope and production are met. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

Duties:

• Review the scope of work, proposals, and drawings, to successfully communicate daily work schedules to crews.
• Oversee assigned sites to confirm each project is being completed on budget and on schedule.
• Track labor and equipment hours and communicate with the Project Management Team.
• Schedule and oversee subcontractors and material vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Call in locates a minimum of 3 days prior to commencement of work on each project.
• Examine material packages to ensure good product quality and proper quantities.
• Ensure that quality products are being produced on site while keeping the budget costs in mind.
• Assist with change orders by examining and recognizing out of scope work and communicating that to the Project Management Team.
• Assist with cost estimation or tracked time & material for change orders.
• Attend weekly sub-contractor meetings with clients.
• Maintain safe jobsite and identify hazards to ensure the safety of crew members.
• Perform safety toolbox talks with crews.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

High School Graduate

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in Site Concrete / Landscape Subcontracting or related construction field.

• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organization and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Horticulture or Related Field.
• 5 + Years of Field Experience
• OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Certification
