This position involves overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Assistant Superintendent will collaborate with various teams, including project managers, subcontractors, and laborers, to facilitate effective communication and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities Assist the Senior Superintendent in managing daily construction activities and site operations including general maintenance and service requests. Review site plans to understand project specifications and requirements. Monitor project progress, including scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with Construction Manager, Superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Prepare reports on project status, including any issues or delays that may arise. Support the training and development of on-site personnel to promote a safe and efficient work environment. Qualifications No experience necessary; we will train. Dependable, punctual, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are a must. Proven experience in construction management or a related field is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. This role requires a proactive communicative approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout the construction process.
