- Commercial Mechanical/Plumbing Project Manager We’re seeking a detail-oriented Plumbing Project Manager to join our operations team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and closeout of plumbing scopes on large commercial construction projects. You’ll coordinate closely with field superintendents, clients, vendors, and design teams to keep projects on time, within budget, and aligned with Paulson-Cheek’s standards of excellence. - Manage multiple plumbing projects from pre-construction through completion
- Develop project schedules, submittals, and procurement logs
- Coordinate with field superintendents, vendors, and subcontractors
- Review and manage project budgets, change orders, and cost tracking
- Interpret plumbing drawings and specs; resolve RFIs and field issues
- Communicate clearly with general contractors, clients, and internal teams
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, job specs, and safety standards
- Lead weekly project meetings and prepare progress reports
- Support project closeout including punch lists, O&M manuals, and warranties Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in commercial plumbing construction Prior experience as a Project Manager or Assistant PM preferred Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and commercial construction practices Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and MEP plans Excellent organizational and communication skills Familiarity with construction project management software (e.
