Description:

Join Cooper Tacia General Contracting, a trailblazer in commercial and industrial construction. We’re on the hunt for dynamic Project Managers at various levels to enrich our project execution team. As part of our vibrant team, you’ll work under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, closely collaborating with Site Superintendents and Project Accountants to drive projects to their successful completion—on time and within budget. In your application please provide us a project list detailing completed projects, including size, scope, and role in execution. As a Project Manager 2 at Cooper Tacia your duties will include: Project Manager II (PM2): As a PM2, you will independently manage complete mid-sized projects or critical aspects of major projects. You are responsible for overseeing project finances, leading negotiations with subcontractors, and managing RFIs and change orders. Additionally, you will mentor PM1s and Assistant Project Managers, fostering their professional growth and development. Your role also involves leading project meetings independently, ensuring effective communication and decision-making processes. PM2

Responsibilities:

Lead the financial oversight of projects, including budget management, expense monitoring, and payment processing. Execute the buyout process by negotiating and finalizing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring scope alignment, competitive pricing, and adherence to project schedules. Ensure project compliance with all operational, legal, and safety parameters through meticulous document analysis. Develop and implement project strategies and innovations that enhance efficiency and project outcomes. Independently chair project meetings, ensuring robust project progress and stakeholder communication. Provide leadership and mentorship to PM1s and APMs, ensuring their professional development and alignment with project objectives. Requirements PM2: Minimum of 6 years of experience with proven capability in managing mid-to-large scale projects, alongside a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Proficient in Microsoft Projects, Procore, Sage Construction 100. Strong communication skills, capable of effectively managing team interactions and complex project negotiations. Excellent multitasking abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects without compromising quality.
