Position Summary :
Construction Superintendent position available to oversee all aspects of field production for Commercial construction projects. This position is for an experienced Superintendent who will be on-site directing day-to-day operations. This Superintendent will be supported by both a Project Manager and General Superintendent, and will be provided with the technology, support staff, equipment resources & necessary training to be successful.
Responsibilities :
A CDI Superintendent has primary responsibility for day-to-day production of all construction operations on-site, while managing CDI & Subcontractor schedule progress. The ability to oversee that our schedule production is achieved in a safe manner, while holding all accountable for maintaining quality-control, is mandatory. At CDI, our Superintendents work alongside our Project Managers as Co-Captains of each project team. Our Superintendents have a direct line of communication to project clients, architects & engineers, while being provided all necessary resources to successfully oversee field production of our construction projects.
Education/Experience :
10+ years of Commercial Construction Superintendent or related experience… …Or; Bachelor s Degree in Construction Mgt or Engineering (or related degree), plus 5+ years of Superintendent experience. Advanced experience with means/methods & processes of building commercial construction projects. Knowledge & experience with Scheduling projects: Developing schedules. Day-to-day managing of schedule sequences. Success in holding trades accountable for achieving scheduled durations. Schedule software proficient. Experience as Superintendent in one, or more, of the following construction markets: Retail Healthcare Office Cultural (Church, Theatrical, Museum) Government / City / Military Higher Education Industrial /
Public Works Hospitality Athletic Facilities Banking Other Requirements:
