Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the service estimating department, overseeing all aspects of commercial roofing service estimates. Collaborate with the sales team to review project scope and requirements, providing accurate and timely estimates for service projects. Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to determine material and labor requirements. Conduct on-site assessments and inspections to assess project needs and identify potential challenges or opportunities. Develop detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Utilize industry-leading software and tools to create professional proposals and presentations for clients. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and material costs to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing estimation, with demonstrated expertise in service estimating. Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods. Proficiency in estimating software and tools, CenterPoint Connect, Sumo Quote, or similar platforms. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop a team of estimators. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
