Job Description
Atlanta-based general contractor known for its strong reputation in commercial construction and commitment to safety excellence. They’re currently looking to bring on an experienced Safety Director to lead and continuously improve their company-wide safety culture.
Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Construction Safety Director to lead all safety operations across multiple projects in the greater Atlanta area. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can build a culture of safety excellence, ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols, and effectively mentor field teams. for this position…the candidate has to have
OSHA 500.
8+ years of safety experience. Must to be from a general contractor…no subs. Qualifications
Proficiency in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and compliance
Expertise in Occupational Health and Accident Investigation
Experience in Construction Safety practices
Strong background in developing and conducting Training programs
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and leadership abilities
Relevant certifications such as OSHA500 or OSHA510
Bachelor’s degree in safety management, Occupational Health, or related field are a plus
