Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Site Superintendent to join the SDAC team. The ideal person will have extensive experience planning, directing, or coordinating activities concerned with self-performance or subcontracting various civil construction projects. You will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, such earth moving, concrete, etc.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, such earth moving, concrete, etc. Ensure efficient organization, scheduling, and budgeting of projects for optimal resource utilization. Oversee and guide civil personnel in executing various tasks, such as demolition, grading, drainage, concrete work, and asphalt paving. Conduct regular inspections to monitor compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Manage and maintain heavy equipment, jobsite layout, and grade establishment. Monitor project schedules and budgets, taking proactive measures to address any deviations. Collaborate with supervisory personnel, contractors, and design professionals to resolve construction issues and ensure project success. Recruit, hire, train, and mentor employees to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and administer rewards or disciplinary actions as required.

3 years In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials. Strong project management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate construction teams. Thorough understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma required
