Traveling Superintendent – Retail & Commercial Renovations (Grocery Remodel Experience Preferred)

Talent Foundry International Madison, GA Traveling Remodel Superintendent Summary:

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Traveling Remodel Superintendent to lead commercial retail remodeling projects across various locations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll leverage your expertise in construction scheduling, safety protocols, and software tools like Procore and Prolog to manage day-to-day site operations. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints, oversee subcontractors, and manage project costs will make you an essential part of our success. Experience with Walmart or Publix projects is highly desirable, and familiarity with gas station remodels or ground-up construction is a big plus. While Walmart certification is preferred, it’s not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise retail remodeling projects (primarily grocery stores) from kickoff to closeout Coordinate with clients, architects, vendors, and subcontractors to meet project goals Develop, monitor, and adjust project budgets and timelines Perform regular quality inspections to maintain high standards and client satisfaction Interpret construction documents, including blueprints and schematics Enforce building codes, OSHA regulations, and job site safety procedures Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates and progress reports Maintain organized documentation: contracts, change orders, permits, etc.

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in retail remodeling or commercial construction management Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, construction safety, and building regulations Proficiency with tools like Procore , Prolog , or other construction management software Solid understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and estimating methods Excellent communication and leadership skills Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Able to work independently and lead diverse teams on the road

Full-time Pay:

$80,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
