GENERAL PURPOSE
This is a key role, supporting the construction needs of more than 2100 existing locations and store growth of 90-100 new locations annually for a $21B+ industry leader. Strong collaborative leadership, project management, andmunication skills are key as you’ll partner with many cross-functional stakeholders, executive leaders, and a wide variety of vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Tactical/Executional:

Manage assigned new store, remodel, and other projects from planning and design through constructionpletion and grand opening.
Implement, manage, and maintain construction budgets and schedules according to prescribedpany plans, programs, policies, and procedures.
Maintain department policy and procedure regardingmunications, project files, budgets, payments, and change orders, facilitating resolution regarding payments with appropriatepany representatives.
Initiate and track Capital Expenditure Requests to ensure timely review and approval.

Relationship Management/Cross-Functional Partnerships:

Oversee assets and negotiate fees for architects, general contractors, engineers, and other outside consultants, monitoring work progress and quality.
Maintain detailed knowledge of all assigned projects and schedules, coordinating all aspects of the project with cross-functional partners to ensure project delivery andpletion regardless of direct responsibility or control.
Manage allpany-supplied vendors and ensure the performance and delivery ofpany-responsible items and schedules.
Respond to requests for information and assistance from otherpany departments and outside vendors and contractors.
Keep the Director and/or Group Vice President of Construction apprised of any critical items or situations having an impact on project delivery or cost.
Maintain an in-office presence 3 days/week when not traveling (~50% travel)

BACKGROUND PROFILE

A minimum of 6-10 years of retail project/construction management experience.
Outstandingmunication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated personnel, project, and time management skills.
Superior analytical skills, both mathematical and problem-solving.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Ability to handle matters professionally and confidentially and apprise the Vice President of critical issues related to the department orpany programs.
High degree of reliability with the ability to travel extensively.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize these tasks, and follow through to ensure timely results.
Outstandingmunication skills, both verbal and written.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA

Requires working in an office environment, primarily on aputer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including engaging in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using abination of in-office and remote work.
