The Civil Concrete Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing concrete operations on construction sites, particularly in LNG and marine environments. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while ensuring safety compliance. Project involves approximately 1,200 acres of land with deepwater access for shipping. A large-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise concrete pouring and finishing operations for LNG and marine construction projects.
Coordinate with project managers and other superintendents to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in all concrete operations.
Oversee the quality control of concrete work, including slab, foundations, and flatwork.
Lead and mentor a team of concrete workers and subcontractors, promoting a positive work environment.
Review and approve concrete mix designs and work plans to ensure project specifications are met.
Monitor project progress and report on potential delays or issues to management. Qualifications Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent in LNG and marine construction projects.
Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, including cast in place and self-perform methods.
Experience with marine construction, off-load facilities, and LNG facilities is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
