Coursey Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential & Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to guide construction efforts. Utilize construction management software such as Buildertrend and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise. Manage project schedules using Buildertrend to ensure milestones are met efficiently. Prepare reports on project status, including updates on timelines, budgets, and any potential delays or challenges. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with contractual obligations and industry standards. Requirements Proven experience in Residential & Commercial construction management or a related field. Strong knowledge of construction processes, including blueprint reading and contract management. Proficient in using construction management software like Buildertrend. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively on-site. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
