Job Description:
As a Mid-Level Project Manager in the Commercial Construction division, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing our construction projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands a combination of technical knowledge, leadership, and excellent communication skills to achieve project objectives and maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely communication to all stakeholders. Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety and quality standards, and address any issues or changes in scope. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any deviations from the plan. Negotiate contracts and manage procurement of materials and services. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing leadership and guidance to project teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering commercial construction projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, laws, standards, and regulations. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project) and MS Office Suite. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team, managing projects and priorities effectively under tight deadlines. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred but not required.
