Residential Construction Manager Jeff Raybon Construction Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Manager to oversee and manage residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction management, and the ability to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders. This role requires proficiency in project management tools and techniques, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with quality standards. Responsibilities Manage residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution. Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications. Utilize project management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for tracking project progress and documentation. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow on the construction site. Prepare and manage contracts while maintaining clear communication with all parties involved. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or a related field. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and civil engineering principles. Familiarity with project management software including ProCore and HeavyBid is preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities. Understanding of construction site operations and safety regulations. Proficiency in Civil 3D is a plus but not required. This position is essential for ensuring the successful delivery of residential projects while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
