Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Installation Coordinator is the behind-the-scenes hero of our operations team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring all installations are scheduled, prepped, and completed on time with the right equipment and information. From coordinating with customers and technicians to managing permits and inventory—you’ll keep the wheels turning and help deliver an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and confirm installation appointments with customers and technicians Prepare and organize job packets, permits, and equipment for upcoming jobs Coordinate with the sales team to ensure all necessary details are gathered for each install Monitor inventory and order equipment/materials as needed Communicate daily with technicians to resolve scheduling issues or job-site changes Track project progress and follow up on incomplete installations Maintain accurate records in company software (alarm billing and scheduling platforms) Provide administrative support to the Installation Manager and assist with process improvement Ensure a smooth handoff between sales, installation, and support teams

Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once Effective communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Comfortable with technology, including basic scheduling and inventory systems Experience in administrative coordination, project scheduling, or logistics is a plus Knowledge of the security/alarm industry is a bonus, but not required Why Join APS?
