Compounding Supervisor

Role and Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Compounding Manager, and set nightshift compounding objectives, and clearly communicate those expectations to the entire compounding team.
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Supervise and coach employees.
Primarily focus is on compounding operations.
Ability to effectively address employee behavior and attendance issues.
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
Partner with production supervision and ensure compounding capacity meets demand.
Submit reports on performance and progress.
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
Train new employees on how to safely perform their jobs and follow procedures.
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

A High School Diploma or a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field is preferable.
3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a lead role.
Proven experience operating as a supervisor or similar role preferred.
Critical thinker with problem solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments.
Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple company initiatives simultaneously.
Experience leading a diverse team of employees.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to instinctively address compounding issues.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a pitman schedule. Proficient using Microsoft Suite, Excel, Power Point, and other data entry software.
Organizational and leadership abilities.
