Louisiana based General Contractor established nearly 100 yearsago is searching for an experienced Superintendent able to land andtake on $20MM projects. We are looking for an individual with thedesire to work collaboratively with an excellent team and deliverquality results on par with the company’s high standards.

Superintendents run one job at a time, and can be located anywherein the state of LA due to statewide pipeline. Supervise the daily construction activities and quality control ofall subcontractors. Supervise the coordination of field effortsbetween trades to achieve a timely and profitable completion instrict accordance with contract documents and specifications, lawand safety requirements. Effectively communicate relevant projectinformation to superiors. Attend weekly subcontractor andowner/architect meetings. Monitor site safety protocols. Trackmanpower and complete daily reports. Assist with quality controloversight. Assist with field office document control. Assist withcreating look-ahead schedules. Monitor and track site deliveries.

Verify all materials, equipment, and installation are in compliancewith approved submittals and contract documents.

Profile Thesuccessful Superintendent will have:

10 years of CommercialConstruction experience Experience with ground-up work Backgroundin skilled trades and / or self-perform contracting is helpfulKnowledge of scheduling, estimating, and cost principles. Basicknowledge of project management software A mature professional withexcellent judgment. A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated andresults-oriented individual. Exceptional communication skills(written and verbal) and intuitive interpersonal skills.
