Concrete Superintendent Cleveland J Billiot III General Contracting, Inc. Raceland, LA Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Superintendent to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of concrete work. As a Concrete Superintendent, you will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of concrete structures, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Manage tools and equipment effectively, ensuring they are maintained in good working condition. Follow OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with Project Manager and team members to ensure project timelines are met. Support construction estimating processes by providing accurate measurements and material requirements. Supervise junior laborers as needed, providing guidance on best practices in concrete work. Experience Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction fields is preferred. Familiarity with construction management principles is a plus. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics is essential. Experience with supervising teams or managing small projects is advantageous. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is required to ensure compliance on job sites.
